This flywheel works well for the 2005 to mid year 2007 V6 Mustang. When replacing your stock clutch with a new SPEC clutch in your 2006 V6 Mustang, you must change out your stock flywheel for a new SPEC Flywheel so that the clutch will seat properly. Mustangs built from beginning production date to December 2006 can use the SPEC SF66 series clutch kit with their stock flywheel or with SPEC Flywheel part# SF66A.

Mustangs built from January 2007 to June 6th 2007 require the use of SPEC SF66 series clutch kit and SPEC Flywheel part# SF66A.

Mustangs built from June 6th 2007 to present require the use of SPEC SF66 series clutch kit and SPEC Flywheel part# SF66A-2.
