E46 TORNADO Fender Set

This E46 TORNADO Fender Set is brought to you by Racing Dynamics for your BMW. The big BMW V8 generates a lot of heat, especially in the 5.0 liter trim of the R50 Tornado. During some test runs in Southern Italy, where summer temperatures can easily reach 42º C, we noticed an annoying drop in performance due to the engine temperatures that were higher than optimal.



These pieces are a composite made from a metal with metal mount point tabs.



We went back to the drawing board and designed these fenders with side chimney vents, and while we were at it, we widened the wheel arch by 10mm, to fit an optional 9" wheel if needed.



The TORNADO Fenders look great, and solved all of our engine bay heat problems instantly.



The TORNADO Fenders are made in Italy of Carbon Kevlar composite, and are a straight replacement for the original fenders. The chimney vents can be trimmed back to avoid cutting the firewall, if heat issues are not your primary concern.
